When did meeting agendas become extinct?
Agendas are the key to better meetings.
A simple agenda meeting could be:
1. goal (sets expectations)
2. challenge (present the topic)
3. ideas / solutions (solicit feedback from everyone in meeting)
4. next steps and follow up (assign and delegate)
It is one of the reasons I only have 30 minute meetings.
The agenda should be shared when the meeting is created. It should NOT be presented at the meeting.
Allow people to come prepared. Or, better yet, let them decline the meeting invite because they can't help meet the goal.
