Marketing has a lot going on. And the work never stops.

AEC marketers are trained on how to put together a proposal, get really good at editing technical writings, can do some amazing InDesign layouts and graphics, create audience engaging social media campaigns, and can coordinate a huge event with ease.

However, marketers are not taught how to project manage their workload. For most, we learn on the job.

Reading between the lines: we project manage based on our lessons learned.

One of the simplest tools a marketing pro can use to manage workloads, expectations, and maintain their sanity is a marketing calendar.

There are a variety of marketing calendars that people can use. I highly recommend one that can track requests, keep up with status updates, and communicate progress to people outside of marketing.
